On Sunday 27 April the adidas Manchester Marathon will return to the streets of Chorlton, involving some local road closures.
The event is a 26.2 miles closed road running event which will involve some road closures in Chorlton District Centre.
Last April 32,000 people took part in the adidas Manchester Marathon, which raised over £3.8 million for local and national charities. The event also saw a £29 million boost to Manchester’s economy.
This April will see 36,000 participants taking part, many of them raising vital funds. The official charity partners of the event this year are: Alzheimer’s Society, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK & The Christie.
