Having had a non-religious upbringing, Roland a has always felt at home with the idea that this life is the only life we have. A chance encounter with a local Humanist Celebrant some years ago meant that when the time came, he knew where to seek guidance and support for his own family in terms of the preparation and performance of funerals. Being moved by the poignancy and experience of these ceremonies, he wanted to help other families in a similar way.
Roland lives in Chorlton with his husband, Páll and was a co-founder of Chorlton Traders.
