The Adidas Manchester Marathon will see 32,000 take to the streets for the famous 26 miles and 385 yards. 

The race will come into Chorlton from the West – along Edge Lane, then Wilbraham Road. It will take a left at the Four Banks and then head northwards up Manchester Road. Edge Lane will be closed to traffic between 8am and 8pm, while Wilbraham, Manchester and assorted side roads will be closed between 7.30am and 8.30pm. There are pedestrian crossing points along the routes, but all traffic will be diverted – be sure to rescue your vehicle before the race comes through!

It’s a brilliant event and it’s great that it comes through our district centre, so come along, line the route and help cheer on the runners – lots of them are from Chorlton!
