Our famous Four Banks Junction is now down to Zero Banks. Our closest bank branch is now in Didsbury. So where do you find cash in Chorlton? Can it be done?
Chorlton’s last bank branch closed in May, severely limiting not only access to personal and business banking services, but 24-hour access to cash. We believe that access to cash is a right: while cards seem to be the payment method of choice for many, they don’t suit everyone and lots of our members will be happy to accept cash.
Chorlton Councillor, Tina Kirwin-McGinley has written to Link ask whether Chorlton is eligible for additional support, such as a Banking Hub. Their answer was no (or not yet at least), so we felt it was important to give you a list of their findings about how you can track down a tenner in Chorlton.
